The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE 2008) confirms Royal Holloway's position among the top research-led university institutions in the UK, with outstanding areas in all three Faculties of Arts, History & Social Sciences and Sciences. 90% of our research is recognised internationally in terms of originality, significance and rigour - with 60% being either world-leading or internationally excellent. We have successful partnerships with, and sponsorship from, governments, charitable foundations, industry and commerce. This global network of collaboration creates original research of national and international importance.
Research & Enterprise helps business, the investment community and others access this knowledge and expertise through contract research, consultancy, intellectual property licensing, bespoke courses and new business start-ups. We also provide research funding advice and support to our academic colleagues.
