I would personally describe the foundation programme at Royal Holloway as a unique university experience on both an academic, and also a social level.

Royal Holloway was different. From the beginning I found every person with whom I corresponded so supportive that it got to the point where I decided that this was the only place I wanted to study.

After I joined the Pre-sessional English Language Programme, I had the chance to practise and develop my language. This enhanced my ability.

Support & advisory services for international students
Welcome to Royal Holloway, University of London!
The International Student Support Team is part of the College’s Support and Advisory Service. We provide specialist advice to international students on areas such as:
Applying for and renewing your student visa
Trips around the UK and Europe
The HOST programme
Opening a bank account in the UK
Working in the UK
Registering with the police
We can also provide more general information about living in the UK and organise your airport collection and college welcome and orientation events, to ensure you settle in well to your new life at Royal Holloway.
The International Student Support team is based in the Founders Building, FW139. Please drop by if you have any questions. You do not need an appointment and we are open from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. We look forward to meeting you!
